eMayl Launches to Answer the Question Every Inbox Asks: Who Sold My Email Address?
The privacy service gives every website its own email address and persona, then shows you who is really emailing each one — now available on the web, on iPhone, and as a browser extension for all major browsers.
August 14, 2026 — The NFI Group, LLC today announced the general availability of eMayl, a privacy-focused email service that gives every website its own email address (an "eMaylias") paired with its own persona, so a person's real identity stays their own. Unlike alias services that stop at forwarding, eMayl shows users who is emailing each address, how often, and when an address has spread beyond where it was first shared — so when spam arrives, users know exactly which company let it happen, and can turn off that one alias while everything else keeps working.
The average email address is shared, sold, leaked, and used as a universal ID that links a person's accounts across the web. eMayl breaks that link. Each eMaylias comes with its own persona, and every incoming message is checked for spoofing and spearphishing before it is forwarded.
"In 2014 my inbox crossed a line: I was spending more time deleting strangers' emails than reading the ones that mattered," said Rob Abbott, co-founder of eMayl. "The real problem was never filtering spam. It was that you never learn which company leaked your address. eMayl gives you receipts."
"When we started, I kept asking two questions about my own email: when did this address last receive a message, and how often does it get one?" said Michael Somlo, co-founder of eMayl. "eMayl answers that for every eMaylias, pairs each one with its own persona, and checks every message for spoofing and spearphishing."
eMayl is a paid product with no ads: user data is never sold, message content is not retained after delivery, and customer email is never used to train AI. Plans are $9.99/month or $83.99/year after a 14-day free trial. eMayl is available today at https://emayl.ai, on the App Store for iPhone, and as a browser extension for all major browsers.
